Small School Of Medicine, in which the public will get an opportunity to learn first-hands from top medical faculty professors, has returned and open for sign ups.
The College of Ottawa’s faculty of drugs provides the six-week course made to train the general public about fundamentals of drugs. The program steps away from the everyday crises of health issues to train a far more fundamental knowledge of health subjects.
This fall’s course is all about health problems over the age spectrum, having a concentrate on prevention, and includes: common childhood infections, weight problems in early childhood, mental health challenges in teens, how you can negotiate the system in Eastern Ontario, challenges of the normal pregnancy, diabetes, stopping falls one of the seniors, and dementia.
Periods are held in the Ottawa Hospital’s Social Campus within the Norman Patterson Auditorium. Each evening has two presentations.
